    Tad attention splitting between foreground on left side and cacti at distance....but I think that just might be me...

    Yeah, a bit too heavy on that dead cactus remains on the lower left. I think an 8x10 crop starting at the top so it loses the bottom of the photo would be just about right.

    Great subject, lighting and conversion Don.... but it's me-three on the foreground on this one - perspective makes the foreground more prominent than
    the mid-ground, and the items are cut-off, and so, seem as an after-thought.

    I have to agree with the current consensus regarding the foreground. The rest of the image is great. Your cactus images are quite inspirational for me. I hope to begin a 3 month ramble through the desert SW in the next5-6 weeks.
