Frozen soap bubbles

Had a go at shooting some frozen soap bubbles. Probably not really cold enough (about -0.3'C). Some bubbles did freeze before bursting but seem to fracture and then collapse. All shots natural light and focus stacked using zerene.

Wow, who knew soap bubbles could be so interesting! I love the patterns the bubbles make, but I think I like the collapsing bubble - #3 - even more. Great images, Brian.

Great stuff. Love the 'tulip'.

Adding glycerol to 5% makes stronger bubbles but getting them to freeze might be a problem.
