Watermark problem

Looks like the support chat is not availabel, so I am asking here. How come the watermark in the account setting displays differently on a sample photo than the same watermark being applied to the actual photo?

    Your best bet would be to email the heroes, as they're available 24/7/364 but I'll see if one of them can poke their heads in, as they're more the experts on Watermarking.

    Thanks for the involvement. I later was able to get a hold of a chat support and explained the issue. I was told my watermark image is too big and the ratio does not match the photo it was supposed to be on. Yes, it is too big and it's ratio is different than the photo it's supposed to go onto. But the culmination of it all was the answer to why, despite all the size/ratio "problems" the watermark tool does, indeed, display one result and the watermark application on the gallery yields completely different outcome. Here the response:

    I wasted half a day playing with the watermark tool and adjusting the png file to look and be in the place I need it to be... just to see the end result in the gallery be absolutely wrong. And this is the answer I get from the support... watermark tool is hmm... a toy... Yes, I am officially upset, can you blame me?

    The watermarking tool needs some love, we just haven't had a chance. Would love to update it one day. It frustrates me too.

    Yes, Please work on the Watermarking tools! I've found this really, really frustrating too!
