Coot ... being chased.

Considering the circumstances, I was lucky not to get dog walkers / joggers / cyclists et al .. no doubt wearing hi viz clothing .. in the background, since there's a well used path on the far side of the (partly frozen) lake opposite me :)

    Thanks guys, for looking and commenting - glad there was at least some pic element that caught your eye.

    For a couple of days last week, the lakes at my local venue were iced over to some degree - in this case, forcing a group of about a dozen coots into a fairly small area of open water close to the bank. Not the shot I was after - but it's a start :)
