On Maui we have some small parrots, endearingly named 'loved birds' by the local folk, although they're among another group of birds that don't necessarily belong. Regardless, they're beautiful, seem to pose no real threat to the local wildlife, and are a real treat to photograph. This one was shot from our back deck.
