Dark legged hoverfly

Had a rather dark legged hoverfly in the garden the other day feeding on some sugar/honey syrup.
Suggestions on ID appreciated.

Lovely images. Maybe a Myathropa?

I note some orange on the ventral side of the legs, which may be diagnostic at the species level.
