I saw only ones with wings closed when I was close enough to photograph them.
The images have been cropped, including further cropping by the software for the cross-eye stereo. I'm surprised that the stereo worked as the base separation and inconsistent angle were far from ideal.. The insect was feeding on a slice of mango or pineapple.
