    Beautiful! I prefer the landscape-oriented image.

    Somehow I don't usually think of water when I think of Arizona... where was this taken?

    Water and the desert is a blessing!
    This was taken north of the Phoenix valley.
    We have numerous lakes - surprisingly. (some natural, some man made)

    I don't usually care for portrait orientation, but it works here because you captured the moon's reflection nicely.
    Is that a bit of snow on the peaks?

    Yes, a bit of snow! Thanks for the comment. I had to go portrait to fit the obligatory moon reflection in at least one shot! I kept telling my husband to paddle faster and further -- he was tired so this was it! :D
