Replace Banner on Select Pages

On my website (www.railroadphotographer.com) I have a banner across each page with my logo, site name, and my name (just below the top menu bar). When I first set up the site I made this appear at the top of every page. Now I would like to replace it on certain pages, but when I go to the page I want to change it only lets me modify/remove the banner on a site-wide basis, even if I use the "make this page custom" option.

Is there any way to hide the banner on certain pages or (better yet) replace it with a custom banner?
