Most of the pictures we see published of eagles are when they are sun lit, clean, dry, preened, and regal. But eagles also get muddy, dripping wet, and grimy dirty at times, and still fly through the air like the kings they are. I think this juvenile has a bit of dirt on it as well its juvenile plumage. And I like that.
