Blue Wahoos Park is in Pensacola, Fl and is part of the Blue Wahoos Minor League baseball team. It was a bright day so natural light wasn't much of an option. These were taken with a fuji x-t1/56 1.2, x-t10/18-55 and x100s.

Had to see more of your work though I was familiar with the mom and baby shoot at the beach and was impressed.
Fantastic job on the OCF, great way to make these punch in a way that natural light would never be able to do at midday.

For me the first two are ok but the rest are just great images. Did you try to do a 30 % flash with ambient? Just wondering.

Thanks! I was pretty much underexposing the background and then using the appropriate flash power. Since I'm using mirrorless I get to see the exposure. Because I am underexposing the subject is usually dark so I take a couple of test shots to dial in the power of the flash and then just shoot.

I don't have a light meter so it isn't about what percentage of flash I need to use but what light modifier and how far away the light is from the subject.

The EVF of mirrorless is also great for using with ND since I see the exposure and compose. Shooting at 1.2 during the day and using strobes is handy on a midday shoot.

Wow, nice job with the lighting. I especially like #4 and #6.

Beautiful shots and lady, very challenging to shoot with that kid of light but you did a great job.
