First Pleione 2016 Sirena

This was a bit tricky to photograph as the flower emerged at the level of the moss potting medium.

With such three-dimensional flowers there has to be a degree of selectivity of DOF.

Two crosseye stereos.

EM-1, Kiron 105mm, f16, ISO 250, triple diffused flash, hand-held.

Even with two guns off camera, it was much trickier than usual to get the lighting right and I had to use all the DOF f16 offered.
