How to display the title of an Organizer Folder?

Hi.

I have this nice but slightly crazy folder (F) / gallery (G) structure on my website like this:
Galleries (F)
-Black And White (F)
--Black And White Landscapes (G)
-High Dynamic Range (F)
--Artistic HDR Photos (G)
--Natural HDR Photos (G)
-Macro Photography (F)
--Animals (G)
--Other (G)
--Plants (G)
...

The titles of the Galleries are nicely displayed where they should be.

But if I go to the link of a folder, for example Macro Folder then I do not get the Folders name presented on top of that page. (Like I would if you followed the links to the Galleries inside this Folder.)
I cannot see that I would have disabled that somewhere in my CSS code.
I do not want to make every Folder custom as that might cause me a high workload of Maintenance whenever I add new Folders ...
The Titles of the folders are set in the Organizer, so it should not be a big thing to fetch them from there like it is done for Galleries...

Could someone here give me a tip of how to fix this?

Thanks in advance & a happy weekend

Have you tried dragging a Title content element onto All Folders?

I just tried that on my site to see if it works. It appeared to work properly in preview mode. I didn't publish it since the title is shown in the breadcrumb that I have set on the top of each page.

    Thanks Denise that works beautifully!

I thought I would have to add text manually and then would would have to do every folder manually ... so I didn't even give it a try.

    Lille -
Something doesn't look right here. I just looked at your folders and it appears that all are now titled "Black and White photography".

I just tried again on my site. I dragged a Title block to All Folders. I did a preview and clicked into a folder. The title block showed the name of the folder. I clicked on a different folder and the title block changed to show the name of the current folder.

Did you use a title block or a text block?

    Hi again, Denise.

Thanks for noticing. This is weird...
I did use a title block and when I checked them afterwards (both logged in and logged out and in different browsers) they seemed to work perfectly over the different folders. But after seeing your reply here I checked once again and they were messed up as you described it. So I went back in (different folder) and removed the text that had "added itself" to the Title-field in the settings of the Title-block, which seems to have fixed it.

So now they seem to work again, but I guess I'll better double check this in an hour from now again...

    Have a great weekend!

The titles look good to me too now.

I know I was confused when I worked with the title blocks - I didn't know I should leave the title field itself BLANK so that the correct title would populate in each gallery. Duh. rolleyes1.gif
