Smart rules - can't see some images from unlisted friend's gallery ....

I can't see two photos from my friend's gallery via the Smart rules. When I check her site http://markova-photo.smugmug.com/keyword/2zone_hp , I can see the first two photos there, but they don't show on our studio website http://studio.2zone.cz

I know it might take some time, but this is more than 2 weeks, I repeatedly tried to remove keywords, add them back, refresh smart rules, still nothing ....

Hi,

I am using Smart rules. Both accounts are friend to one each other. But those two affected images are from friend's unlisted gallery (hence not inherited), so not sure it might be the cause of the problem. But I am almost sure, some other are from unlisted galleries too. Here's the screenshot:

Unfortunately collecting from a different account is not possible anymore.

Huh, I don't understand somehow. What do you mean by "collecting"? Smart rules allow me to set additional rules to link to the galleries of friend accounts. I can still see markova-photo's friend account photos included by Smart Rules. Any link to some help page, which describes the new change? Isn't "collecting" feature somthing else, than inclusion by a Smart rule filters?

I know what you mean now - sorry about the confusion. Yes, the fact that the content is in an UNLISTED gallery - is the issue, because unlisted content is not indexed - not visible to the smart gallery filter.

And if I would switch it to "Inheriting public"? Does it mean, that it is publicly accessible, if I don't link to it anywhere on a website? And btw - if you will look into above screenshot, as for your own galleries, you can include even Unlisted ones in your filters, so it is imo indexed. But maybe it just does not work in a cross-user (friend) fashion?

If you make your gallery PUBLIC - this gallery will be accessible to anyone - including search engines like google. Unlisted content is not indexed - therefore it is not visible to smart rules from a different account.

Just a suggestion to update the Help page for this new info. Currently, it says:

You can make Rules to grab photos from other users, if ALL the following are true:

• You've linked to the owner as your Friend or Family.
• The owner has not disabled Allow Collecting in their Account Settings Privacy section.
• The gallery has external linking turned on. (More on gallery settings.)
