Actually, it's an abstract of an abstract oil painting.

Tom is this the full painting? Lovely painting I must say.....
Are you modifying it in your post to add a twist?
    Cheers!

Hey brother Taz. This abstract is of but a portion of the painting. The painting itself measures 30" X 30". The abstracted portion featured here focuses on a part of the painting measuring about 12" X 12". There was practically zero PP work performed on this image. The artist, Bill Read, is well known for his exceptionally beautiful abstract/interpretive paintings which are all done using only a palette knife. I was extremely lucky to have been able to acquire this one at an estate sale.

    Take care,

    Tom

Thanks for the info Tom! Which is what what guessed when you said, "...abstract of an abstract"! Yeah, some people have got eye for abstracts....you certainly do! Good ones are always amazing!

    Cheers!

It's not uncomon to hear someone say about an abstract "Any child could
    do that!".

Yeah, right. Try to create one, though. To create one with any interest
factor at all is extremely difficult and does take a certain talent.

Thanks for your support. I'm a sucker for bold colors and strong textures.

    See you,

Hi Tom - Love the bright colors here! How are things in FL? I left a comment in Eric's "Cade's Cove" thread--we should plan our Appalachia trip and see who we can round up. I volunteered you to be the guide. :D
