The car on the left is a 1951 Nash Airflight; often called the "upside down bathtub".
For many reasons, it was considered one of the worst production cars ever made.
The front fenders were so designed that the wheels' movement was restricted on
sharp turns. As an option, though, the buyer could specify that the front seats
could be folded down into a bed.
The middle vehicle could be used for sleeping, but the usual occupants were in
for the big sleep.
