Hi!
I would like to design my Smugmug Website with a similar look as this website: http://liketherazor.com
My current SmugMug website is : www.daidjosephportraits.com
I am so very new to SMUGMUG and the process of designing a website …. I will need a bit of patience!
Thanks for any assistance!

The link you posted to your site does not work.
I'd recommend taking your site construction one step at a time. Design and implement your header (logo and menu). Decide on colors for background and text. Ask specific questions about how to implement pieces of your site, focusing on one page / area of your site at a time. Tell us exactly what you are trying to do.

Musings & ramblings at https://denisegoldberg.blogspot.com
The homepage on liketherazor uses what is commonly called a slider. Sliders are very common outside of SM. Somewhere here I have requested that SM offer a slider control, but their slideshow or carousel is the closest they come at the moment. What I like about sliders in general, and liketherazor's in particular: 1) If you hover over the image the slideshow stops, 2) Buttons under the slideshow indicate the relative position in the show, and let you skip to a specific slide in the show, 3) You can embed links in each image.
I'm not aware of a way to do any of these in SM, but I'm sure someone will offer suggestions if there is a way.
