This is a street-mounted advertising statue (about life-size) for an oil producer and she is touting free tastings. The owner changes her dress occasionally.
It is better to die on you feet than to live on your knees.....Emiliano Zapata
While photography is one of my interests, the use of words and language is high
on my list. Some may not notice that the sign reads "Degustation Gratis".
"Degustation" is a culinary term meaning a careful, appreciative tasting of various
foods, and usually the sampling of small portions. "Gratis" is free.
Much classier than writing "Free Samples".
More proof that the camera, in the hands of the photographer that seeks
out the unusual, captures both the obvious and the subtext.

Also note, Tony, that it is degustación. I had to correct the sign in PP because the sign-maker missed the accent.
