Is there a way to duplicate a gallery to another folder, whilst the original gallery remain untouched?

Have you considered creating a smart gallery in the second folder?

If you don't want to reference the photos in the original gallery but really want a second copy, you could request a download of the full gallery then upload the files downloaded to the new gallery.
