The fruit of this species of honeysuckle is said to contain high concentrations of antioxidants.

I have never taken a close looked at the flowers until today. One looked rather colourful and I seem to have chosen a moment with various stages of ripening of the anthers.

These were taken with a FOV 17.5mm wide (x2), with triple off-camera TTL flash.
