All of these flower pictures made me yearn to get out and take some myself. This morning we had about 5 minutes of sunshine so I ran out the door and headed toward my favorite little public garden. The light was not so great but I managed to get off a couple of shots.

1) one of my favorite features of this garden are the 18th century dwarf figures

TULIPS
2) It has been raining a lot recently...

    #2, #8, and #9 are joyous!clap.gifbow
While #2 is my favorite, if mine, I would take quarter inch off of left to get rid of those bright half circles at the edges at top.....because of their location and brightness, bit distracting to me....but I may be wrong....

Taz, thanks for taking the time to look and comment - as always much appreciated!! Thanks also for the heads up on #2 - I hadn't noticed those little bright spots, now they're gone. :)

Lovely Sara!...and so different than the varieties that grow here.
My favorite is #7 - I've never seen that flower before...and of the two (8 & 9), I prefer #8 because of the more muted background.

Eric, thanks for the comments! The flowers in 7-9 (I'm really bad at botanical names...) are little guys that grow close to the ground. The individual flowers in #7 are about 1" tall - I had to get down on my good knee to get the shot - thank god for my flip-out screen!
