I just could not get this boy to come out into the open anymore....I coaxed and coaxed and coaxed...with doe scent and little grunts...he was curious but not wanting to commit.......

    Fun!
At least you know where to go to see these deer and have little tricks with you to get their attention. The only place I see them is behind two fences at our local water shed area. The trail is between the two fences. Deer are pretty tame, but it's so much nicer the way you shot your deer...

Thanks...I do like to see if I can get really close and have been pushed over trying to get a stand ready to hunt out of at 4 am by deer sniffing at me...during the hunting season I eat chloraphyll pills so that I sweat alfalfa hay..not human sweat:D ....more than once I have had deer just cover me with snot:uhoh also...it is a tactic to get a reaction if no reaction must be a tree or log.....then they just walk off....
