I would never have seen her if she had not tried for my attention. She desperately wanted me out of the area. I had no idea why and then I finally saw.....

    Make me want to go to desert area! For a while though.....can't stand the heat for too long! ;o)
    I can't see Waldo.......are those bird eggs or lizard eggs?

    Great capture. I was just thinking yesterday of a photo like this. There's a big open, rocky area near my home with a couple of these birds living there. As I passed through the area they were giving me the "look at me, with the broken wing" treatment. kudos for paying attention to your surroundings.
