Nomada bee

Spotted this nomada bee looking a bit cold 8 foot up in a camellia bush. Managed some shots by carefully pulling the branch down but then managed to move it to a low wall for some further shots before it warmed up enough to fly off. 5Dmk2/MPE-65/430Ex flash. All focus stacks using zerene.
These rather wasp like bees are cuckoo bees of miner bees. The females lay their eggs in miner bee nest holes.

    I think yours is N. fuscata, more yellow than mine. Excellent images.
