This is the second year that our local fungus group has found this, early season, fungus of very damp or wet habitats.

This was at a second site, many miles away, growing in the mud of an almost-dried-up pond. The stalk was about 1cm tall.
EM-1, Kiron 105mm at maximum magnification (x2 with crop) and f16, twin flash. This frame had the best focus but was very under-exposed but the glory of RAW is that all was not lost.
The first image is a cross-eye stereo from last year. (It seems to have gained a border for only one of the pair!).
