Bees

Started seeing a few now there is a hint of warmth as the sun grows stronger and brighter.

Here are a couple of mason bees, one of which will perish before too long as the mites have already taken a hold, the other will be OK for now at least...

Last two are nice busy bumbles amongst the apple blossom.

    An excellent set.

    In spite of sunshine, there is still a dearth of bees here. There is variety but not many of anyone species.

    Thank you Harold - the same here - the North West still has so few insects I feel almost left out by our southern counterparts!
