#2 has that beautiful color for AZ sunsets! Nice detail in it as well. I like #3 also but the green in the cactus is just a tad saturated for me; but it is beautiful all the same!!!!
A great set of images. My favorite would be #1. My only nit, and I'm equally guilty of doing the same thing, is that the cactus runs out of the top of the frame. Overall, color, composition and subject is very well captured.

I don't know where I'm going, but I'm going anyway.

Thanks, Phil I intentionally cut the cactus as it improved the overall composition, in my opinion. Rules are meant to be broken sometimes.

Love this series, Dan. Clipping the foreground cactus was the right choice, IMO. When you have repeating objects in a scene (like these saguaros), you often want to clip the foreground object to get the closeup details which compliments the views of the full objects in the rest of the scene.

Thanks, Joel. I did not know that specifically; I just knew I liked it
Excellent shots. Bring back great memories. I lived in Sierra Vista for 5 years. Wished I had been able to stay longer.
