unable to upload - get "invalid login" msg after progress bar completes

I'm trying to upload picts (just using any of the upload options while
logged in to my account) via Chrome browser into a gallery that I just created (also
happens into existing gallery with picts previously uploaded) and the
Progress bar while uploading seems "happy" and will proceed to go
through the same motions with a whole batch of picts, but each upload
ends with a red "invalid login" message. I've changed my password,
checked my account settings (I'm paid up...), looked at private
galleries, can create new galleries, etc., so I'm definitely logged in.

What's happening?

So I can upload using Microsoft Edge. What's up with Chrome? Anyone else having this problem?

This error can occur if 1) you use a custom domain for your SmugMug site and 2) you have your browser set to block third party cookies. Since you do use a custom domain for your SmugMug site, you'll just want to check your browser cookie settings in Chrome and ensure that you are accepting third party cookies. In Chrome, you can go to Chrome's Settings > Show Advanced Settings > Content Settings. Make sure "block third party cookies and site data" is not checked there. You may also need to click the Exceptions button there, and make sure your domain and SmugMug are not listed there.

Once you make that change, you should be able to upload without problems.

    Thanks. That worked.

I guess the problem was that I recently started using a newly created user account on Windows 10 after having problems with my original user account since upgrading from windows 7. The default for Chrome must be to block 3rd party cookies.
