Hi everyone! I registered on the forum for SmugMug support, but might have well start participating here. :D

I was in Estes Park for a wedding in early May. Up at 5am, I was looking to take some pictures of the sunrise or any wildlife wondering by in Rocky Mountain National Park. It turned out to be a foggy morning. This photo was taken from one of the higher overlooks on Trail Ridge Rd.

A very nice capture. If it were mine I would be tempted to crop right below the fog bank. Imho, the open area at the bottom does more to distract from the fog and mountains than it adds.

I don't know where I'm going, but I'm going anyway.

Thanks Phil, I have a 16x9 version of this as my wallpaper, and most of the trimming was done at the bottom.

Nicely done, love the effect upslope fog gives on those mornings.

Outstanding image! Agree with Roaddog52 about cropping the bottom. If it were my image, I would see what I could get out of the colors (but not over saturate), your version seems subdued color wise, but maybe that's what you wanted.

    Anyway, very cool!
