Point Arena on the California coast, looking south and then looking north (with lighthouse in shot). Then the north shot in BW which seems more soothing than the color.

Color or B&W, they both work for me. The light is a bit intense, but equally in either version. The B&W gives me a feeling of being back in the 50's or early 60's.

    Good spot Jo!
Horizon seem bit off on both...
I like b&w also....it needs horizon as well as perspective fix as the pole on the right is bending outwards...
For first one, one possibility is to go abstract route and crop below the housing establishment....
    Cheers!

^ agree - the horizon looks a bit off. I really like the first one. Beautiful view and nice, natural waves crashing. Great detail!!!

Thank you all so much for the feedback. I seem to forget about horizon when editing headscratch.gif. These have been somewhat corrected:

Horizon and light on the rock wall brought down just a little. Taz - I tried cropping the houses out, but with the sky completely gone, it felt like there was a roof on the picture....a little too claustrophobic for me.

Horizon leveled and light on the wall brought down just a little.

Thanks again for the constructive feedback :D . Think I'll keep playing with these some more.
