Mirror lenses

not gonna get one of these, but i thought it was interesting none-the-less....

i was looking at alternatives for long focal lenght lenses and i came across some Mirror lense reviews. just thought i'd share with ya here:thumb i'll be sure to conduct one of these soon seeing as my local camera shop has one in stock on display....

    I was once tempted. But the limitations and donut bokeh convinced me to spend money on the real deal.

    I have a Quantaray 500mm /f8 mirror
    Fun to play with...manual focus...not a very good lens...the bokeh is awful
    I use it about like a LensBaby if that makes any sense
    Very hard to shoot hand held next to impossable...I always use a tripod
    I need to post some photos from this lens

    I had an old Series 1 from Vivitar.

    Nice in the bright light but a royal pita otherwise. I wouldn't buy one again.
