Philaenus spumarius, the 'Meadow Froghopper', is a species belonging to the family Aphrophoridae. This one was on the leaf of the rhubarb.

    Its awesome.....but do you have any room on left? Then it will likely make the "sharp eye" as focal point, replacing the out of focus......just a thought....Cheers!

    Lovely capture Paul. One of those bugs like cricket nymphs that has a habit of turning away from the camera.

    SB - the edge of the leaf (and a dark abyss) were off to the left so I opted for the colour of the leaf.
