Now, if you would just come clear out all my unused, un needed shots for me. I cannot let go unless there is obvious blur.
On that shot, I would have about 10 variations, work up one, like you did, but be unwilling to toss the others: I might want them someday, or something. Maybe there is such a thing as a "photoshop hoarder" or whatever the adjective would be.

Ginger,
Thank you.
. Obsessive-compulsive photo disorder.
I don't save very many shots that I take anymore. I save only the absolute best that I would be happy to give as a gift, use as a card, or hang on a wall. Digital photography for me is still a hobby. I decided that if I didn't let go of the stuff that was so-so I wouldn't be motivated again to make a better shot. I am not talking about shots of vacations or places I probably won't see again, or somebody's birthday....but the bird stuff that I can reshoot tomorrow if I want to. I like the challenge of shooting birds..therefore... I let go of the old and crummy to make way for the good and pleasing. I had to learn to be my own best critic. I would rather get out and learn through trial and error to get Good shots, than have a hard drive full of stuff that needs to be worked on. I do not enjoy sitting at the computer anymore. Another issue for me is to be able to shoot correctly and produce shots that do not need anything more than a little tweak.
This way of thinking has made photography fun again for me. I am not bogged down with hours of PP.
Good one Trish. You caught some nice feather detail which ain't easy with anhingas.

Those colors are making a comeback!:): See my response to Ginger!
Hi Dee,
Thanks!
How are you?? I enjoy vivid colors and always like any shot that contains them. But I also love B & Ws.
