Increasingly Slow Upload Speeds

Hello,

I'd like to troubleshoot my upload to smugmug. I can upload to facebook, dropbox, and other random areas at a pretty fast speed. However, whenever I upload to smugmug it is beyond ridiculously slow.

For instance, I speedtest my upload and its at 2.70mbps, which is stupid slow but welcome to Alaska, and a 20mb file could easily take 15 minutes to upload. I even speetested my upload during an upload to smugmug and it tested the same, didnt even seem to slow it down. If I'm uploading a file at 3mbps it should take around 2 minutes for 20mb. Even if I'm only getting 1mbps it should still only be about 4 minutes.

Is there anyway I can specifically test my upload to smugmug?

I found a reference to this speedtest to SmugMug - http://upload.smugmug.com/test/line-quality/.

The reference is from the help page Can I upload photos faster?.

I wonder if the help desk has other suggestions.

Hey Prezwoodz I would suggest what Denise has suggested - to run a speed test using the same link. You can also email us the result of the speedtest and we can see what is going on on your account. You can find our contact form here
