    I Agree with DanielB
    I love the composition. It is very engaging and evokes a lot of emotion. But I do agree with DanielB that "air" isn't the first thought that comes to mind.

    Congrats on the camera. That should keep you up tonight.

    the title "cold night air" invoked an image of DrIt's breath shot, so that was what I was expecting...

    and while I like the shot in general, I think it could use a major crop - too much pure black around the edges.

    aren't new cameras fun? I just got one too:D

    yes, i thought about the breath shot, too, now that you mention it. i guess it doesn't feel eerie to me, since it was in the backyard and the dogs were running around my feet, things were going on.....but, taken in the context of just seeing it here, it is rather serious. and as soon as i took out the new camera, all my creativity seemed to leave town on a fast train......sheesh.

    boy, i can't believe how much i have forgotten about SLR use......eek7.gif
