Although I frequently see these as individuals, and occasionally two together, in our garden, I don't recall seeing a pair mating. Anyway, I found this pair recently, on a concavely-curved leaf, some distance in from the edge of a blackcurrant bush. So my choice of angle was limited. It seems. also, that battery power was a problem with one of my two flash guns. Only the first image is good enough to stand alone.
