Snowy egret ......that is. It was a lovely 75* and sunny today. :D NO SNOW IN THE FORCAST. :rofl :rofl This little fellow decided to come and keep me company as I sat on a bench on the inter-coastal waterway, today.

Thanks for looking.

Nice company I bet he was!

I like the last two shots best!

Something about the hairdo! Did you use gel?

Thanks Ginger. I used a little moose on 'em. That gel stuff is too "wet" looking. I had a great bit of difficulty dragging enough extension cords with me to run the hair dryer. :D

Photo #2 he is saying - who do you think you are sitting on MY bench! Laughing.gif

I like the last one where he looks rather ruffled.

    Deep thought or....

Very nice!! I prefer the first two shots with the nice contrast of the stark black background and the fine white detail of the bird.

Shots 3 and 4 seem oversharpened slightly on my monitor, and thus get edged out by the first two images.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate you taking a look and commenting. thumb.gif Sorry if I oversharpened them and they cut someone's eyes. eek7.gif I tend to do that a good bit from what I've been told. They still look a bit blury to me. eek7.gif :uhoh :D Time to order some new eyes ..online. Does B&H sell new eyeballs for a self installation project? ne_nau.gifheadscratch.gifrolleyes1.gif

These little snowy egrets are very friendly and quite the characters. They like to pose.....beg for food....and tell you when you've stepped out of line. umph.gif

The "double eyed" shot kind of reminds me of another shot of mine.....in the "bizzaro" world.

Thanks Steve & Jeff. The weather has been great and you know what's best of all, Jeff? I love when I can rub it in on those 500mm owning snow bird photogs with frost on their lens. rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif:D :hide

Another very nice set of Snowy's. Great Captures thumb.gif

All the Snowy's Ive come across have been on the skittish side. Must be the humidity down there softening up their grey matter. rolleyes1.gif

I whistled at his lady.....and then talked trash about his mother. Guess he didn't like that. :uhoh rolleyes1.gif:D

Yes..that is for real. No PS magic on that one. The egret was just shaking his feathers a bit. I don't think I had anything to do with ruffling them. headscratch.gif
