Real nice shots Phil. The lighting fantastic. I'd have to say #1 is my fav. Love that part of Washington.

Great series, Phil. Superb composition. thumb.gif I would love to see these shots shown larger.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Great shots of a magical area. Ever get down to The Palouse?

Thanks Taz. Stayed wide to try and show the open expanse of land in this area.

Thanks Len. I've been eyeballing this barn for years, and this is my 2nd success.

Thanks David. It's a great area, and can be very productive when everything comes together. This area is actually the northern edge of the Palouse. Here is a link to my Palouse gallery if you're interested https://roaddog52.smugmug.com/Photography/Landscapes/Palouse

Wonderful images. My bucket list has the Palouse as #1......I so want to get there either during harvest or spring plantings. Thanks for reminding me!

Thanks. Hope you get up there someday. There are a few key areas to shoot, and miles and miles of backroads to explore. Don't miss the Palouse Falls.

I love these expansive & gorgeous shots. There are similar vistas available in my part of the world, although this season's harvest is pretty much done here.

Last year I did a Palouse workshop with Andy Williams and crew through Muench Workshops. Totally worth it. For landscapers, that's one of three or four spots on the globe that look as they do. The other three are Morovia, Slovenia and Tuscany. Tuscany would be the winner on that list.

Glad I could help. Oddly, I've read in forums, photogs in Europe wanting to visit The Palouse when they have those 3 of 4 best fairly close to them and might not have ever been to their "local Palouses."

Really enjoy the subtle and peaceful look with these. The irony is the hard work after number 1. Beautiful, vast country. In my opinion you showed it well.
