RSS limit for mail list?

Hi 
I am trying to built a mail list that would be feed by a RSS feed from my website. But since I don't want to send people like 100 photos or more just because I have updated quite a few during a month I would like to restrict the number of items shown in the RSS feed.
The feed-link that I have from my page is this one:
http://www.lilleulven.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=nicknameRecentPhotos&Data=lilleUlven&format=rss200&Size=Small
Which - with the exception of limiting the number of items - works fine. I figured there must be some sort of parameter to feed into this link to limit the number of items to my choice...but even though I tried a few that came to my mind, nothing has worked so far...
So far tried:
&limit=2
?limit=2
&max_items=2
?max_items=2
and probably a few more that I cannot remember right now.
Is this do-able somehow? (No, since the feed-url is going into an external service the smug mug "add RSS feed"-content-item with its restriction is unfortunately of no help)
