Contact sheet photo book?

Not sure where to put this question, but this seems reasonable.

I want to make a photo book of my kiddo's pictures. But what we want amounts to a book of contact sheets. Six images per page, maybe more, all same size arranged in a grid. Chronological in order. This is so we can get a large number of prints made, in book form, with the hassle of actually designing a book page by page. Its more for archiving images rather than story telling or showcasing.

I have an iMac, Photos, Aperture 3, and Affinity Photo. I do not have Adobe CC. The images in question reside in Photos, so that solution would be the most convenient.
