Thanks everyone. I kept thinking last night that I would have to translate to find out re "les bleus", mais with Daniel's remarks, je quois c'est "the blue, as one might thing", ils sont a bit grainy.

    Windoze that cracked me up!

Yes, LAB. C'est bon, n'est pas??

    ginger

I only had like over 5 yrs of high school french and that is the best I can do.

I took that after noon on Monday, we were at the beach, supposed to leave at noon, but we lingered.

That makes for a quandery with the Golden Air of Winter shot already in a challenge thread.

This is the shot I strive for. I have never done it so well. One is "hallmark", don't tell anyone, though, and this, IMO, is "art". I always think to get it when I see abstract patterns. The LAB processing is what turned the corner, Je quois. Also, it was one of the better abstracts I have gotten.

One would think it could be reshot, but these things can't be. One, the beach is ever changing, and two, the eye does not see the same again. Or something.

They are both good shots, the one on the challenge thread and this one, I have just tried for this one for so long!!! For those who wonder, I took about 25, or more abstracts on Monday while at the beach. About, or at least, 10 of this scene. I do work a subject.

I found this by googling, best dictionary I have found online for this, it is a regular dictionary, plus french to english, english to french, etc. It also has a Thesaurus.

I put it on my toolbar, and in my fave places.

Daniel, well, I took it just about where I take everything on Sullivan's Island. From the rocks, I was looking north.

And in the Golden Air of Winter, last night, I was on the rocks, walked about 1/8 mile or less south of that and took that photo. I walk the dogs in that area, too. It is near where I lived when the 1989 hurricane struck. Also the lighthouse is there. It is my favorite beach.

And, as I said, ever changing.
