The "alien" vibe in so many of them takes it to another level.
Processing, comp...., mastery of light, no words....
I can bore you with my rambling some more.....but this shows your true metal!

Thanks very much. I'm delighted that you like them.

As for the alien vibe, I was shooting infrared from necessity because of a camera malfunction, but I learned from the experience. Infrared's different tonal language adds abstraction beyond the abstraction you always get in black and white.

I visited New Mexico a few months ago and I came back with one of the most dramatic skies ever, even more than Yosemite. Really like the set you posted. Not sure I'm a fan of IR, but they do look different, in a good way. Like #3 the best.

A very impressive set of images,

thumb. 4 and 5 work best for me. love those clouds and the expanse of sky in 5, creates such a feeling of solitude.

joe-bob, Carter, jerry, thank you all. For what it's worth, I didn't know that it was a movie set when I took the shot. My wife and I were driving down a dirt road in a remote area when I saw it. I took it at face value. Later, I did some research on the area and there was a photo of the same buildings, informing me that they had been built for a film.

At Ghost Ranch, New Mexico, I had a similar experience, photographing the heck out of a cabin that I then learned had been built for the movie City Slickers.
