Where to find gallery number

A few time ago when i was sharing a gallery it was possible to get the gallery id and the gallery key. I need these info for embedding some pictures from a smugmug gallery, for example here :

Now when i "share" i don't get the gallery id. I can only get the key when a share a "slideshow"

Where can i get the gallery id ?

Which method are you using to embed a gallery that requires the Album Key (i.e. Gallery ID)? Briefly looking at the web page source code for the link you shared, it appears the Jetpack plugin for WordPress is in use. I don't have any personal experience with Jetpack, but would be interested to see the menu interface for embedding a gallery.

The Album Key can be viewed and copied from the 'Slideshow' share code (as you already mentioned) if you need it. A gallery link that includes the Album Key is not provided in the Share panel.

Yesterday after a lot of search on the web i found this :

in which is mentioned Smugroom tools that gave me the solution ...

FIY in the attachment you will see the wordpress interface of Alpine Photo Tile for Smugmug.
For a gallery i just need to give :
- where to retrieve from
- album id (that's why i need the id)
- user album key
- specify type of link
- the link (if necessary - depend on type of link
- style setting of the gallery

Then just need to click on "Generate shortcode", copy the shortcode and insert in the post

wrench icon beneath any photo > replace > look in the URL. Album ID and Key are both listed there

I'd just like to chime in and express extreme caution when using unsupported third party plugins like this tool. I've spoken with the developer of this wordpress plugin before and he is no longer supporting it. As SmugMug moves away from Gallery ID's, this tool may break.

Thanks Aaron for your answer about this problem I knew that the plugin is no longer maintained but for the moment i have not found plugins for easy embeding of smugmug gallery in wordpress (and this one works also with Google Photos, so galleries from Smugmug or G+ have the same look, and that's a good thing)
I don't want to embed slideshow and i will try to find another solution. May be you know one ?

Another remark out of the subject : is there a chance for having localization of Smugmug (in french for example) ? Don't find any accurate infos on the board.

We don't have any plans to localize smugmug but you might see something related to Google Translate in the near future (keep watching the "Product News" forum for any announcements).
