It could be a single exposure and almost no post processing. There's two strobes and half a dozen LEDs visible there. It's just a lot simpler to shoot in parts and composite the product together (and you only need one strobe to pull off some really neat stuff). Some things are easiest with lights, some in camera, some on the computer. Finding that ballance of what is possible and where is the thing
