I don't know that there's a joke per se... but, the scene has charm and humor, and the descending size from left to right is visually engaging.

I was thinking '14 feet' at first. Aside from that, great picture. The sloping triangle of tall to short is fantastic. All just cruising down the sidewalk like four pals going somewhere. Nice shot.
