I, and some other mods, have been concerned, of late, how this thread (and some others) have morphed away from their roots. This one has seen posts of street scenes and landscapes. Urban exploration photography, as the link above describes, is more about man-made ruins as if you are some photo archeologist recording structures from the past. The term bleak comes to mind. Post #1 in this thread pretty much nails it.
Can we keep this thread and its content to its definition please?

Thank you David!
I posted this question nt as a critique, but only for a clarification. In fact, personally I'm more attracted to the living aspect(s) of an urban area rather than the ruined, decayed aspect of it... and I really liked the two posts with the Chinatown in SF.
Hopping that there are not tooooooo many threads in the "Other Cool Shots" I'll open a new one with this subject, with your permission

Yes, something like live street scenes are subjects for a different thread.

- Should we stick to the Urban Explroration description here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urban_exploration#cite_note-SFGATE_062008-1
- or can we post any interesting urban aspects, scenes, streets, etc.?

Yup
Went into his place; a former storage room.
I'm in building and I didn't see a bathroom
His wife & his daughter lived there
Here they are
Extremely proud people and look at how they're dressed. Castro makes sure the kids have the same uniforms so the poor ones don't look out of place
