Phaneroptera nana

This is the striking mediterranean katydid, Phaneroptera nana (I am 99% certain that it is nana not falcata, but happy to be corrected). The deciding factor is the dimensions of the pronotum (square rather than oblong in side view).
Also included is one a nymph of either falcata or nana from earlier in the year ... IMHO totally impossible to distinguish! With the nymph, the green is actually a pretty good rendering of the actual colouring .. bright sunlight flooding through a leaf canopy giving this rather garish colour.
