Along a river

This area isn't viewed as a big deal where I live, but it sings to me and I keep going back. The river is very low because our summer rains didn't amount to much, but we may have to get use to that.

Nice series, Don. I can certainly appreciate what makes this a favorite place of yours. I like how you caught the reflection in #2 and in #4 how these river rocks seem to be large cliffs. I am also fond of #7. For me #1 was slightly less successful - had it been me, I might have shot from an even lower or different angle. Love the butterflies, too!

Len, Taz, Phil, thanks very much. Phil, I tried BW on all of them. Some depend too much on color for that to work. Despite my general preference for BW, I thought they were all better in color.
