Hey guys
I see the copyright notice (no right click) unable to 'save as' to download the images is available. Anything for text on the site pages? What about 'plagiarism' of large chunks of text? Can we prevent that?
Thanks in advance SM Guru's :clap:clap

My current (wordpress) site prevents that from happening through a plugin, so it is possible.

I'm curious. What is your site and what plugin are you using?
I use WP for my site as well.

No I realise that, but it can be mitigated for the normal Joe....:D

Seriously, anything like that, as well as photo protection, only blocks people who do not try hard or are not very technically inclined.
It is like a keep out sign; it reminds honest people.
It is technically not possible to simultaneously display things on someone's computer, and deny them access to those things, so long as they control the computer.
PS. Sorry, I see this discussion just occurred. I will add relative to the above that "normal Joe" today really only means "a person who does not know how to type Google and look up a technique". It used to be it took really technical expertise to hack around, now all it takes is a search engine, and patience, and ability to follow instructions. I do admit this last phrase excludes much of the population, though.
That's what I thought. I simple 'ctl+u' shows the source code.
Anyway, SmugMug doesn't have that option and personally I wouldn't worry about it.
