Shared Groups question

Brand new and I have one question about sharedgroups.

I want my site to be password protected, as well as create sharegroups for people whom i only want to see certain galleries.

The help section mentions that the URL created for a sharegroup is cookied for a week. Does this mean that the URL no longer will work after one week? What if I want it to last forever?

The only dumb questions are the un-asked ones

The sharegroups url is good forever, or until you delete the sharegroup. I hope this helps!

more sharegroup issues
couple of more questions:

1. If my entire site is password protected, do my sharegroups have to be?

2. When guests view one of my sharegroups, they can quite easily get to my main page with one click. Is there a way to make it so that guests that visit my sharegroups can only see those galleries and not anything else?
